Methodology

Analysis of real GA4 and Shopify data from 3,000+ ecommerce stores using Littledata's analytics connector. Computes median and quartile distributions for conversion rate, sessions per user, cart-to-checkout rate, checkout-to-order rate, and revenue per user. Opt-in platform data — covers primarily DTC Shopify/WooCommerce brands, $500k-$50M GMV range.

Coverage

Ecommerce-specific: store conversion rate (sessions to purchase), cart-to-checkout rate, checkout-to-order rate, sessions per user per month, revenue per session, average order value. Strongest for DTC brands on Shopify. Not applicable to B2B, SaaS, or media.
