Rank your conversion rate against industry benchmarks

Pick your industry and metric, enter your number, and see whether you’re top quartile, above median, below median, or bottom quartile. Distributions are sourced from 54cited industry studies. We never fabricate numbers — when published data isn’t available for a combination, the calculator hides it.

What “percentile” means here

The benchmark for each industry+metric pair has three anchor points: the 25th percentile (bottom quartile), the median (50th), and the 75th percentile (top quartile). Your input is interpolated between them. If you’re above the 75th, we extend the curve with diminishing returns — landing your rate around the 95th percentile only when you’re roughly twice the top-quartile anchor.

Lower-is-better metrics (cart abandonment, churn, payback period) flip the curve automatically — a low cart-abandonment rate scores high.
